Padel in Mar del Plata: courts for your visit

Plan a padel game in Mar del Plata with club links for GO PADEL MDQ and La Masia, plus advice on rackets, finding players and booking around a trip.

A padel game in Mar del Plata can fit into a short visit if you settle the date, equipment and other players together. GO PADEL MDQ lists Sicilia 6514, while La Masia lists Juramento 55. These two club contacts give you somewhere to start before arranging a match around the rest of your trip.

Ask for a confirmed session within your travel dates, including rackets if you need them. An available court alone does not mean a complete game is ready for you to join.

Two places to contact

GO PADEL MDQ links to its contact and reservation channels. La Masia also provides a booking link and lists changing rooms, a buffet and a gym. Ask which facilities are available during your session and whether any carry a separate charge.

We checked the published profiles on 22 October 2026. This is a selection of contacts, not a ranking or a complete directory. We have not made bookings, checked live slots or established racket rental, roof coverage or English-speaking service.

Fit the venue into your itinerary

Check the journey from wherever you will be immediately before the game. That may be different from your accommodation. Share the full address with the other players and allow time to arrive, change and settle any outstanding payment.

Use the actual locations when comparing the two clubs. A photo of a court cannot tell you whether the journey works with your plans. Check the return trip too, particularly if you have a meal booked or onward travel later that day.

Give the organiser your departure date when you first enquire. A suggestion to move the match to the following week is not useful if you will already have left Mar del Plata. Two workable time windows are usually easier to coordinate than an open-ended request to play “sometime this weekend”.

Travelling without a racket

Ask for the exact number of rackets your group needs. A general statement that rental exists does not reserve equipment for your session. Confirm the charge, whether it is per racket or per player, and how the equipment is held with the court booking.

Decide who provides the balls as well. If you plan to buy them at the venue, ask about the cost before dividing the bill. A paleta is a racket, pelotas are balls and alquiler means rental. Those words help avoid agreeing only to the court when you need more than the playing space.

If changing or showering afterwards is important, ask about access for your particular visit. A facility mentioned on a club profile does not establish its opening hours or whether it is included in the court price. Resolve those details before committing to plans immediately after the game.

Finding the other players

Say whether you are alone, a pair or a complete group of four. If you need opponents, ask whether the club helps organise games. Renting a court does not by itself create a match or guarantee that someone will find players for you.

Describe your recent experience rather than choosing a local category at random. “I play weekly and am comfortable with the back glass” gives the host something practical to work with. Our Argentina padel levels guide explains why a rating from another country may not translate directly.

For a short stay, agree on a time by which the group must be complete. If two places remain unfilled, you need to know early enough to consider another session. Ask who communicates a cancellation so you do not arrive at the venue with only half a group.

Booking with room for a change of plan

If the proposed court is outdoors, ask how the club handles weather disruption: who makes the decision, when players hear about it and what happens to any money already paid. If you want a covered court, request confirmation for the assigned court rather than the complex generally.

Also clarify the price in its stated currency, the accepted payment method and whether it is per player or for the court. Check whether a foreign-issued card is accepted if that is how you intend to pay. Keep the booking confirmation and any agreed equipment details together.

You can adapt this message:

Hola, estamos en Mar del Plata del [arrival date] al [departure date]. Somos [number] y podemos jugar [two options]. Jugamos [experience]. Necesitamos alquilar [number] paletas. ¿Tienen cancha y pueden ayudarnos a completar el partido? ¿Cuál es el costo total y cómo se confirma?

It gives the club your travel window, player count and equipment needs, then asks for help filling the game and confirming the total.

Before your first game in Mar del Plata

Can two visitors book a session?

Ask for a game with two places available, help finding opponents or a lesson for the pair. Be clear about which option you want. If you are new to padel, read our first-match rules guide before going.
